Garden Workshops
Join us in Franktown, CO for several workshops this year!
Here are a few options:
April 26th 1-3pm, Seedling Starting: Grab your girlfriends and walk away with your own herb garden, all started from seed. In this class we will talk through seed starting, herb gardens, planning your season, and all those initial spring troubleshooting concepts. You will also receive a laminated course packet to keep on hand with your garden tools and supplies.
May 18th 1-3pm, Get it in the Garden Workshop: This is a great place to snag some seedlings; and every student walks away with three vegetable seedlings of their choice. You will also get more pages of your laminated course book from the previous class. This book is intended to be waterproof and can be kept with your garden tools and supplies for reference! In this session we will talk about placement of crops, soil moisture, maintaining a wonderful growing season, and again those summer troubleshooting concerns.
June 29th 1-3pm, Don’t forget about Fall workshop: In this class we will work on keeping up the garden long into those fall months, when most people think their season is done. We will add more laminated pages to your course book, and pick from a wide variety of cold season seedlings or perennials to take home. We will cover cold loving crops, mulching, cover crops, and of course eventually putting our gardens to bed.
